Following a speech by Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, who denounced cellphones as Israel’s “agent” and advocated for a broader use of pagers, additional orders for B.A.C.-manufactured pagers were reportedly placed by operatives of the Lebanese terrorist organization. Shortly after the explosions, unverified images of two damaged pagers began circulating on social media, displaying the word “Gold” along with a serial number starting with either “AP” or “AR.” This led to speculation about a potential connection to the Taiwanese company Gold Apollo. However, Gold Apollo swiftly issued a strong denial of any involvement, clarifying that the model in question is produced and sold exclusively by B.A.C. Consulting.
