My comments to the speech delivered by Prof. Maithree Wickramasinghe at the University of Kelaniya:
Highly abstract and theoretical.
Culturally international. Oratory skills can be highly appreciated.
Typical representation of deviated academics working for the betterment of their own “race”.
Elites will enjoy the impacts of the speech but the overall outcome will remain zero.
Conceptually, come closer to the activities of women’s Lib in the 70s.
A myth after a myth. Gender Disparity is just another topic, which has been timely staged.
Thereby, it has become essentially political but will function within the framework of unethical conduct.
